As and experiment we contacted some of the other rental agencies in Wellington looking to rent a property that they were listing.
Of the 10 phone inquiries made. 9 were met with a answering machine asking for a message to be left. We did so and got four call backs, over the following 3 days. Interesting!
Of those four, 2 of the agencies couldn't find the property for rent on their "system".
